2021

Based on analytical geometry, KS! is a rocking chair made out of just one type of piece: an oak wood strip. A paraboloid, the mathematical surface which inspired the design, can be constructed just by the progressive turn of a straight line.

Following this process, and using flat pieces put together, in the center of the structure a seatable space is created, thought to be used as a riding chair. Combined this with the curved legs, KS! is a playful seat that helps not only to relax by the smooth rocking movements, but also to enjoy as a kid.
Produced in oak wood, both the seat structure and rocker bottoms are made of strips with the same section.
